Liverpool manager Arne Slot has been handed a two-game touchline ban by the Football Association following his red card against Everton, Afrosport reports.
Slot was sent off by referee Michael Oliver after the 2-2 draw in the final Merseyside derby at Everton’s Goodison Park on 12 February.
The Dutchman was sanctioned for confronting Oliver after the game with his touchline ban to begin with Liverpool’s home game against Newcastle United at Anfield on Wednesday, followed by their match against Southampton on 8 March.

Slot was also fined £70,000 by the FA for accepting the charge. The former Feyenoord boss was displeased with James Tarkowski’s 98th-minute equaliser for the Toffees.
The Reds felt the goal should not have stood due to a push on defender Ibrahima Konate in the build-up. However, after a review by the video assistant referee (VAR), it was given as a legitimate goal.
Slot was visibly furious as he was pictured exchanging words with one of the assistant referees before shaking hands with Oliver, who proceeded to show him a red card.
Meanwhile, Liverpool assistant coach Sipke Hulshoff, who was also shown a red card, was handed a two-game ban and a fine of £7,000.
Liverpool and Everton were also fined £65,000 and £50,000, respectively, for failing to control their players.
The Reds are comfortably atop the Premier League standings with 64 points, 11 points ahead of second-placed Arsenal, who have played one game less.
