Marcus Rashford came off the bench to produce his first goal involvement for Aston Villa with two assists as they came from behind to defeat Chelsea 2-1 at Villa Park in the Premier League on Saturday evening, Afrosport reports.
The Blues went ahead in the ninth minute after 2022 FIFA World Cup winner Enzo Fernandez tapped in from close range after being fed by Pedro Neto down the right flank.
Rashford, who is on loan from Manchester United, came on at the start of the second half, replacing Jacob Ramsey, and got his first assist for the Villains when he played the ball into Marco Asensio’s path in the 57th minute.
With the game heading for a draw, Rashford stepped up again to supply Asensio in the 89th minute to complete his brace and hand Aston Villa all three points.

The victory moved Unai Emery’s men above Newcastle United into seventh place and one point behind Chelsea in sixth while they are two points shy of the top four.
