Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Jean-Philippe Mateta and Yankuba Minteh all provided assists as West Ham United, Crystal Palace and Brighton & Hove Albion recorded respective wins over Arsenal, Fulham and Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon, Afrosport reports.

Wan-Bissaka, of DR Congo heritage, provided the assist for Jarrod Bowen as 10-man Arsenal lost 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium, ending their 15-game unbeaten run.

Meanwhile, Mateta provided the assist for Daniel Munoz as Crystal Palace defeated Fulham 2-0 in a London derby for their fourth win in their last six league games.

It was the French forward of Congolese heritage’s first assist of the 2024 after scoring seven goals in six league games.

Gambia winger Minteh, fresh off a brace against Chelsea last week, registered his third assist for Brighton by setting up Georginio Rutter in a 4-0 win over bottom club Southampton.

The result moved Brighton above Aston Villa up to eighth on the table and are just four points shy of the top four.
