Fabregas praises Conte’s ability to manage struggling teams

Como manager Cesc Fabregas has praised Antonio Conte for his ability to manage struggling teams, asserting “he puts everything in order”, Afrosport reports.

Conte took charge of Napoli last summer after a disappointing 10th place finish, a season after winning their first Serie A title in 33 years.

The Partenopei are now back in title contention as they lead the standings after 25 games, two points clear of Inter Milan.

“Antonio Conte is an incredible coach for teams that are struggling because he arrives with a message that immediately resonates with everyone and puts everything in order,” Fabregas said ahead of Como’s hosting of Napoli in the Serie A this weekend.

“Conte is a winner who speaks little but makes himself understood by everyone. The players understand what he wants and give something extra.”

Meanwhile, newly-promoted Como, under the watch of Fabregas, are in 13th place on the table, five points clear of the relegation zone.

After three consecutive losses, they recored a massive 2-0 win away at Fiorentina last weekend.

Fabregas played under Conte at Chelsea between 2016 and 2018, winning the Premier League and FA Cup.
