Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti spoke highly of his team’s attacking strength following their 5-1 thumping of RB Salzburg in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night, Afrosport reports.
A brace from Brazilian duo Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior and a sole effort from Kylian Mbappe made it the eighth result in the last 11 games of Los Blancos that produced five or more goals.
Ancelotti owed it to the immense creativity in attacking saying: “Up front, everyone is linking up well and with these players we won’t have any difficulty scoring goals. Offensively there is a lot of creativity and you have to be aware of how the players see the move. With Mbappe, Vini Jr, Rodrygo and Bellingham we won’t have any problems scoring.”

Reflecting on Rodrygo who took his tally to 10 goals for the season, Ancelotti said: “He’s scoring in every game and he’s helping us a lot. We have the quality from Mbappe, Vini Jr., Rodrygo, Bellingham, Brahim, Valverde’s strike. It’s a perfect combination of an attacking game and we enjoy it and we’ll enjoy it more when the team defends better.”
Meanwhile, Vinicius Junior passed the 100-goal mark for Real Madrid with his brace and is just three goals shy of matching Brazil legend Ronaldo’s tally.
“I’m delighted to reach 100 goals with this shirt. Now I’m only three behind Ronaldo, the Brazilian with the most goals. I hope I can continue like this and mark an era in this team, it’s my dream,” he said.
