Super Legend Ike Shorunmu has warned Victor Osimhen about a riksy transfer to Premier League club Manchester United.
Man Utd are reportedly courting Osimhen in their efforts to boost the frontline in Reuben Amorim’s team. Osimhen is one of the leading goalscorers in the Turkish Super Lig this season with 10 goals to his credit but his future remains uncertain.
He is loan at Galatasaray and his future at Napoli is to be decided at the end of the 2024-25 season.
“Well, it depends on him, you know, everything in this life is about risk,” Shorunmu told Rant Sports.
“And again, it is a matter of mindset if he is comfortable with the Man Utd project and his readiness to start a new life and adjust after just six months in Turkey.
“It also depends on the new coach at Manchester United if the coach loves him so much and will support him in adapting to life in England.
“It is a two-way thing about how he feels about playing in England and his mind to direct him.”
Man Utd progressed to the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday after seeing off Arsenal 5-3 on penalties at the end of a 1-1 draw.
