The goal of Kazeem Olaigbe in Cercle Brugge’s 4-1 away at Olimpija Ljubljana has won the UEFA Conference League Goal of the Day award for matchday 6, Afrosport reports.
Belgian-born Olaigbe, who is of Nigerian heritage, found the back of the net twice and also provided an assist for FC Cincinnati-bound Kevin Denkey.
His award-winning goal was the opener of the game in which he struck a brilliant long-range shot from outside the penalty area in the third minute.

Olaigbe took his Conference League tally to three goals in six games which is joint-third highest with 12 other players.
Cercle Brugge’s victory took them up to seventh in the Conference League standings.
Olaigbe will be in action once more as Brugge will be traveling to the Planet Group Arena to face in the Belgian Pro League Gent on Sunday.
