Lazio stunned Napoli 1-0 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in the star fixture of Matchday 15 in the Italian top-flight, Afrosport reports.
The two teams were meeting again, four days after Tijjani Noslin’s hat-trick inspired Lazio to a 3-1 in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 fixture at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Biancocelesti entered the game full of confidence and it showed in the first half as they were able to curtail the threats portrayed by their hosts and also created scoring chances.
Marco Baroni’s charges, however, found the breakthrough in the 69th minute, Gustav Isaksen scoring a peach of a goal from a brilliant Tijjani Noslin pass from a counterattack.
Despite the introduction of David Neres, Giacomo Raspadori, and Giovanni Simeone, the hosts could not find a way back as they suffered their third defeat of the season.
The win sees Lazio move up to fifth on the log while Napoli failed to reclaim top spot ftom Atalanta, with Inter Milan third.

In other matches played, Fiorentina edged Cagliari 1-0 to move up to fourth on the log, Como and Venezia settled for a 2-2 draw, while Empoli secured a 4-1 away victory over Hellas Verona.
