The draw for the third round of the FA Cup was conducted on Monday, and holders Manchester United have been pitted against record winners Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium, Afrosport reports.
Premier League leaders Liverpool will host League Two side Accrington Stanley, while last season’s losing finalist Manchester City plays host to Salford City, owned by United’s ‘Class of 92’ stars.
Tottenham will visit Tamworth, who are the lowest-ranked team and one of just two non-league clubs still in the competition. Liverpool will face Accrington Stanley at Anfield, while Chelsea will host League Two’s bottom club, Morecambe.
Elsewhere, Bromley travel to face Newcastle United at St James’ Park; Aston Villa and West Ham will lock horns in an all-Premier League clash, while Everton are up against Peterborough as England international Ashley Young, 39, could face his 18-year-old son Tyler.
The third-round fixtures will be played across the weekend of Saturday, 11 January.
