A team from the world-renowned International Management Group (IMG) is in Nigeria, Afrosport reports.
The team, led by Managing Director for Africa Robyn Cox, includes Afrosport Managing Consultant Rotimi Pedro, Afrosport Content Director Deji Omotoyinbo, Former Super Eagles captain Augustine Jay Jay Okocha as well as Femi Soneye (NNPC), Olukayode Thomas and six other IMG members.
They were received by NFF 2nd Vice President/NPFL Chairman, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye; NFF General Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi; NFF Director of Media & Communications, Dr. Ademola Olajire; and other members of the Nigeria Football Federation.
The IMG team was also present at the Nigeria Premier Football League offices and has committed to work with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and the NPFL to improve the country’s football in all spheres.
The initial meeting held with the Nigerian football hierarchy was to exchange ideas, perspectives and objectives over the coming weeks and months on the best pathways to taking football in the country to new heights.
