Inter Milan and Napoli shared the spoils after a 1-1 stalemate at the San Siro in Sunday’s action in matchday 12 in the Italian Serie A, Afrosport reports .
The top-of-the-table clash started nicely for Serie A leaders Napoli, who drew first blood, taking the lead in the 23rd minute through summer signing Scott McTominay, who beat Yan Sommer in goal for Inter after poking the ball home from close range.
The Nerazzurri, however, got back on level terms as Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu scored a peach of a goal from the edge of the box.

After the break, Inter looked menacing, and they were rewarded with a penalty after Cameroon international Franck Zambo Anguissa was adjudged to have tripped Denzel Dumfries. However, they failed to make use of the opportunity as Calhanoglu’s spot-kick hit the upright to the dismay of Inter fans.

At the Stadio Olimpico, Ivan Juric’s role as Roma manager seems to be on the line as his side was condemned to a 3-2 home loss by visiting Bologna.
