Ball had surgery for a cartilage and meniscus transplant in his left knee last year after previous attempts to fix the injury were futile. The former No. 2 overall pick had not played since January 14, 2022, before returning during preseason.
He has played three of Chicago’s four games this season, scoring 14 points.
