Bukayo Saka joined an exclusive company of history makers in the Premier League with his first half goal in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, Afrosport reports
The Gunners forward, returning from injury, opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a sublime near-post finish past Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher for his third league goal of the season.
The strike was Saka’s 50th in the Premier League, and the Arsenal Academy graduate, at 23 years and 52 days, became the seventh youngest player to reach this milestone in the league’s history.
Saka joined the likes of Robbie Fowler, Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney, Romelu Lukaku, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Harry Kane on the list.
