Tottenham Hotspur were the biggest winners in the latest round of Premier League matches played on Saturday after they secured a comeback 4-1 win against London rivals West Ham United, while Arsenal suffered a shock 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth, Afroport reports.
In the early kick-off played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Ghana international Mohammed Kudus gave the visitors the lead in the 18th minute, sweeping home Jarrod Bowen’s cross.
However, Sweden captain, Dejan Kulusevski, levelled the tie deservedly for the hosts in a somewhat fortuitous manner as his shot hit both uprights in the 36th minute.
Ange Postecoglou made some tactical changes at the start of the second half taking off James Maddison for Pape Matar Sarr with Kulusevski playing behind Dominic Solanke.
Spurs showed more desire in the second half and scored three goals in the space of eight minutes.
Yves Bissouma put Spurs in front in the 52nd minute after brilliant work from Destiny Udogie down the flank, while West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola’s attempt to save Son Hueng-Min’s effort resulted in him putting it behind his own goal.
Spurs captain Son scored moments later as West Ham was caught in possession for the umpteenth time in the match.
Kudus was sent off late in the game for an altercation with Spurs players Sarr and Micky van de Ven, but the result was already beyond doubt.

In other Premier League fixtures played, second-half strikes from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund earned Manchester United a comeback 2-1 against Brentford at Old Trafford.
Ethan Pinnock’s stoppage-time first-half goal ended up as a consolation for the Bees.
Aston Villa secured a 3-1 victory at Craven Cottage courtesy of goals from Morgan Rogers, Olie Watkins, and an own goal by Issa Diop.
Mexico forward Raul Jimenez gave the Cottagers the lead in the fifth minute as Bernd Leno’s pass evaded Villa defenders to find the forward, who tucked home the ball.
They were, however, reduced to 10 men in the 64th minute when Joachim Anderson was shown a straight red for a professional foul on Watkins, and although Villa also had a player sent off in the dying stages, the visitors saw off the win.
At Saint James Park, former Manchester United and Arsenal forward, Danny Welbeck scored the only goal of the match as Brighton & Hove Albion defeated Newcastle United 1-0.
At Saint Mary’s, Southampton threw away a 2-0 first-half lead as they agonisingly lost 3-2 to Leicester City, who registered their second win of the season.
Cameron Archer and Nigeria international Joe Aribo gave the home side the lead going into the break, but the Foxes turned things around in the second half.
Goals from Facundo Buananotte, a Jamie Vardy penalty, and a 98th-minute winner from Ghana’s Jordan Ayew, secured the comeback win for the 2016 League champions.
At Portman Road, newly-promoted Ipswich Town were handed a 2-0 defeat by their visitors, Everton.
Senegal midfielder Iliman Ndiaye opened the scoring for the Toffees in the 17th minute, while Micheal Keane doubled his side’s advantage in the 40th minute from a Dwight McNeil assist.
The win was Everton’s second of the season and moved them to the 16th spot on the log.
In the last Premier League fixture of the day, Bournemouth registered a famous 2-0 victory against title-contenders Arsenal at the Vitality Stadium.
France defender William Saliba was sent off in the 30th minute for a professional foul on Evanilson. The initial yellow card was overturned after a VAR review proved he was the last Arsenal player.
The hosts took advantage of their numerical advantage as Dutch star Justin Kluivert first assisted Ryan Christie in the 70th minute before scoring his in the 77th minute.
