Marc Guehi has called on his Crystal Palace teammates to have a stronger mentality after they lost 2-1 to Everton in the Premier League on Saturday, Afrosport reports.
The Abidjan-born centre-back put the Eagles ahead in the 10th minute at Goodison Park but a second half brace from Dwight McNeil ensured the Toffees picked up their first league win of the season.
Palace meanwhile remain winless after six games with three defeats, and Guehi wants his team to go back to basics.
“We need to have a better mentality as a group, we need to be stronger and to start winning games, simple,” he said per the club website.
“It’s back to training, back to basics and then when the next game comes around we have to be ready for that.”

Palace will face another tough task when they host Liverpool at the Selhurst Park next Saturday.
