Dominic Solanke made it back-to-back goals for Tottenham Hotspur as they defeated Qarabag 3-0 in the Europa League on Thursday even after playing most of the game with 10 men, Afrosport reports.
Romanian centre-back Radu Dragusin was given a straight red card in just the eighth minute of play after he was involved in a rough challenge.
It did not deter Ange Postecoglou’s men as they went ahead four minutes later after new signing and former Bournemouth forward Solanke laid the ball for Brennan Johnson to finish off.
It became 2-0 to Spurs in the 52nd minute when Senegal midfielder Pape Matar Sarr pounced in from Dejan Kulusevski’s corner.
Solanke then put the game to bed in the 68th minute after tapping the ball in from close range from Heung-Min Son’s curling effort.
It was the 27-year-old’s second goal for Tottenham in as many games after netting his first in 3-1 Premier League win over Brentford last weekend.
