Nigerian forward Victor Olatunji has jumped on the viral train going on in the country following his history-making performance in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old starred for Sparta Prague in their 3-0 throbbing of Austrian side RB Salzburg at the epet ARENA, scoring one goal and providing another in the Czech’s club long-awaited return to Europe’s premier competition.
Olatunji, who scored Sparta’s second goal with a beautiful volley in the 42nd minute caught the attention of many, particularly Nigerian fans, who better understood his celebration.
After scoring on his Champions League debut, the Nigerian, who reenacted Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous “siuuuu” celebration, lifted up his No. 7 jersey to show the inscription “I’m a chosen, who are you?” written on his inner wear.

Over the last few days, the words inscribed on Olatunji’s shirt has been making waves in Nigeria as part of a social media frenzy involving popular church “The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries” after some controversial videos of its members giving testimonies made its way to the internet.ĺ
