Victor Osimhen’s transfer saga appears to have taken another twist as the Super Eagles forward is reportedly close to joining Turkish side Galatasaray from Napoli, Afrosport reports.
The Super Lig club have reportedly reached an agreement with Napoli for the season-long loan transfer of the 25-year-old, who was recently told he no longer had a spot on the roster.

According to reports, Galatasaray will cover Osimhen’s salary until the end of the season and the deal agreed with Napoli does not include a buy option or obligation clause.
It is left to see if the Nigerian, who will sign a new one-year contract until 2027 with Napoli, will accept the terms as Galatasaray’s entourage is in Naples to discuss personal terms with Osimhen and get the player’s “go ahead” for the deal.

Osimhen has been the talk of the summer transfer window after two deals fell through last week when Saudi club Al Ahli and Premier League side Chelsea, failed to get the Super Eagles forward’s signature.
Al Ahli had agreed to pay Osimhem €40 million per year, but they failed to agree a deal with Napoli after the Serie A club asked for €5 million more than the initial €80 million, they agreed to pay.
