Organisers of the Valuejet Cup have revealed the eight participating teams for this year’s edition.
The teams were officially revealed via the competition’s official X handle.
Last year’s champions, Shooting Stars of Ibadan, have already confirmed their intention to participate alongside former Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions, Rivers United.
Other participating teams are Ijebu United, Remo Stars, newly promoted NPFL sides, Beyond Limits Football Academy and Ikorodu City FC, as well as Kwara United.
Al Merrikh of Sudan will be the first team outside Nigeria to take part in the Nigeriam off-season tournament.

The Valuejet Cup will kick off on Wednesday at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne and run through till July 31.
Winners of this year’s edition will receive ₦5 million, while runners-up will get ₦2.5 million.
