Italy legend Alessandro Del Piero has called out Kylian Mbappe for being indecisive over his future at Paris Saint-Germain.
The 25-year-old France international’s contract at the Parc des Princes will expire at the end of the season and he has indicated he will not renew it, giving room for a potential free transfer to Real Madrid.
Mbappe has been close to leaving PSG in the past only to make a U-turn and commit his future to the French capital outfit, and it has left Del Piero perplexed by such an attitude.
“The way that renewals have gone in previous years, with false farewells, then signing anyway. If you want to stay in Paris, you stay in Paris. I don’t really understand this sort of behaviour,” the 2006 World Cup champion told Sky Sport Italia.
“On the other hand, next year he’s going to win, so if it doesn’t go to plan this year, he will have a big chance with Real Madrid.”

Mbappe has been in blistering form for PSG this season, scoring 41 goals in 42 competitive games, including his brace in Tuesday night’s 4-1 win at Barcelona which sent them through to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.
