Tiger Woods says he is fit enough to win this year’s Masters Tournament.
The 48-year-old is eyeing a sixth title at Augusta National with his most recent success coming in 2019 after overcoming multiple injuries and surgeries for the 15th golf major of his career.
Woods has had to deal with more injuries and has not featured in many tournaments since withdrawing from last year’s Masters because of a foot injury.
The Jupiter Island resident believes he has a good shot at ultimate victory if everything comes together for him at Augusta National.
“If everything comes together, I think I can get one more [major],” Woods said in his pre-tournament press conference.
“I still think they [things coming together to win] can. I don’t know when that day is, when that day comes, but I still think that I can. I haven’t got to that point where I don’t think I can’t.”

Woods’ five Masters titles puts him behind Jack Nicklaus who holds the record of six titles.
Nicklaus also holds the record of most golf majors with 18 and victory for Woods in Augusta would put him within two majors of equalling the record.
