Samuel Chukwueze’s AC Milan will get to face French Ligue 1 side Rennes in the UEFA Europa League knockout playoffs following the conclusion of the draws held in Nyon, Switzerland on Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Gift Orban’s Gent will get to face Israeli giants Maccabi Haifa in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
Chukwueze scored the winning goal in a 2-1 victory at Newcastle United that saw them finish third in their Champions League group and drop to the Europa League. They will now have to get past Rennes, who finished second in their Euro League group, for a chance to reach the Round of 16.

In other knockout fixtures, Hakim Ziyech’s Galatasaray, who also finished third in their Champions League group will face Sparta Prague while Houssem Aouar’s AS Roma will slug it out with Feyenoord. In-form Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will also look to continue his goalscoring prowess as they tackle Shakhtar Donetsk.
RC Lens will face Freiburg, Young Boys will go up against Sporting Lisbon, Benfica take on Toulouse and Braga will battle it out with Qarabag.
In the Europa Conference League, Orban’s Gent finished second in Group B and will have to edge past Maccabi Haifa if they are to better their from last season when they reached the quarter-finals but lost to eventual champions West Ham United.

Other Europa Conference League knockout playoff fixtures will see Sturm Graz face Slovan Bratislava, Union Saint-Gilloise will be up against Eintracht Frankfurt, Olympiacos will go head to head with Ferencvaros, likewise Molde against Legia Warsaw and Servette FC against Ludogorets.
Real Betis will go up against Dinamo Zagreb while Chuba Akpom’s Ajax will lock horns with Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt.
The two-legged Europa League and Conference League knockout playoff fixtures will take place on February 15 and 22, 2024.
