The Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed the appointed officials for Nigeria’s clash against Ethiopia in the 2024 Women Olympic Football Qualifying Tournament on Monday.
The African football body appointed Algeria’s Lamia Atman as referee for the encounter slated for the Abebe Bekila Stadium in Addis Ababa on Wednesday.
Atman will be supported by her compatriots Asma Feriel Ouahab, Sara Kemmad, and Ghada Mehat, who have all been selected as assistant referee 1, assistant referee 2, and fourth official, respectively.
Also, Rwanda’s Angelique Tuyishime has been chosen to serve as referee assessor, while Tabitha Wambui Njoroge from Kenya will play the role of match commissioner.
CAF also chose Togo’s Edoh Kindedji as the lead referee for the second leg of the double-header scheduled to take place at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Tuesday, October 31.
The Togolese official will also be aided by a duo of her compatriots, Abra Sitsofe Agbedanou and Kossiwa Kayigan Awoutey, who were chosen as assistant referee 1 and assistant referee 2, respectively, while Yacine Samassa from Mauritania will act as the fourth official.
Daloba Oulare from Guinea will be the referee assessor, and Ghana’s Christine Ziga will serve as match commissioner.
The winner of the tie between Lucy and the Super Falcons across two legs will take on the winner of the tie between Cameroon and Uganda.
