Nigeria vs Haiti – How to watch and all you need to know

Nigeria’s senior women’s team, the Super Falcons, have progressed to the second round of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers following the withdrawal of their opponent, Sao Tome and Principe.

Randy Waldrum’s side was supposed to face the Central African nation in a two-legged qualifier in the first round, with the first leg initially billed for this Friday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos.

The Sao Tome and Principe Football Association notified the Confederation of African Football (CAF) of their decision to pull out of their qualifying race, which provides the Falcons with a bye.

Nigeria will now have to wait for the winner between Cape Verde and Liberia to be their opponent in the second qualifying round.

The second-round tie is slated to take place between November 27 and December 5, 2023, with the winner guaranteed a spot in the WAFCON 2024 in Morocco.
