Serie A club Udinese have completed the signing of Nigeria goalkeeper Maduka Okoye on a permanent deal from Watford.
Okoye penned a four-year deal with the Black and White that will keep him in Italy until June 2027.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper endured a torrid brief spell at Watford where he played in just two cup matches without making an appearance in the Championship last season.
The 23-year-old left Sparta Rotterdam to join Watford in January 2022, a move should proved to be unproductive.
The decline in his match fitness has affected his spot in the Super Eagles and he is yet to play for the three-time African champions since the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in January 2022.
Okoye will be hoping to revive his career in Andrea Sottil’s team and he joins compatriot Isaac Success at the Stadio Friuli.
