The Local Organising Committee of the Lagos Street Soccer Championship has embarked on the training of coaches and match officials ahead of this year’s edition.
The Lagos Street is set for a return after a long hiatus since 2014 with the eighth edition to take place later this year.
Mr. Yomi Kuku, chairman of the Technical Committee will lead the training on the laws of the competition and he will be ably assisted by Mr. Ayeni Saheed, chairman of the Referee Sub Committee.
Former Nigerian international, Taiwo Oloyede who is also the chairman of the coaches Sub Committee will be amongst others in charge of the training for coaches of the Lagos Street Soccer championship.
Other members of the technical committee includes veteran journalist, Wale Joseph and FIFA Retired Referee, Toyin Oginni will also provide insights on varying topics to prepare the coaches and teams ahead of the commencement of the Lagos Street Soccer Championship.
