Manchester United have agreed a deal worth around €55 million to sign Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
The deal, which is said to be a five-year deal plus an option for another year, is subject to medicals after the 27-year-old agreed personal terms.
United boss Erik Ten Hag, who is keen on reuniting with his former shotstopper during his time at Ajax, wants Onana to join the team on their upcoming United States Tour.
The Cameroonian, who moved to Italy last season following the end of his contract with Ajax, helped Inter reach the final of the UEFA Champions League, where he won the Golden Glove with eight clean sheets.
Onana is expected to fly to England on Tuesday to begin his medical and formally sign his Manchester United contract, with the hopes of completing the deal in time for their US trip, where they will be until the end of July.
He will replace the already-departed David Degea, who left the club after his 12-year tenure, as United’s first-choice goalkeeper.
