Nmecha, who recently received a call-up to represent the German national team, has chosen to wear the number eight shirt for the Black and Yellows.

The young midfielder is expected to fill the huge gap left by English midfielder Jude Bellingham, who recently sealed a big-money move to Real Madrid, and Dortmund’s Sporting Director Sebastian Kehl is confident that he [Nmecha] will bolster their midfield in both defence and attack.
“Felix Nmecha is a fast, technically skilled and physically strong player who will improve our midfield with his profile both offensively and defensively,” the former Dormund captain said.
“He enjoyed a first-class education at Manchester City and showed his potential at Wolfsburg last season.”
Likewise, head coach Edin Terzic revealed he is pleased with his new signing and looks forward to working with him.
“We are looking forward to Felix and want to support him in developing as a football player and as a person,” he said.
“We are sure that Felix can become an important part of our team very quickly, and will help us grow stronger.”
