Democratic Republic of Congo star Igeu Kabesa, who is touted as one of the greatest pound-for-pound fighters that the continent of Africa has produced, will headline the Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) 104 this Thursday when he takes on hometown fighter Vince Bembe at the EFC Performance Institute in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The 30-year-old 17-fight veteran, who has won 15 fights and lost just two, will look to defend his EFC featherweight belt against the less-experienced Bembe, who is known for his devastating submissions and his lightning-fast fighting speed.
In the co-main event, which is an all-South African battle between striking sensation Cole “The Hitman” Henning and Tapiwa “Mighty Warrior” Katikati, who is unbeaten in his EFC career.

Katikati has five wins from five fights in his short career, with two by submission and three by knockout, and is the outright favorite against Henning, who has lost two of his last three fights, with the most recent being by TKO against compatriot Tshilomba Mikixi in December 2022.
Also, the experienced Roevan de Beer, who is renowned for his submission skills, is scheduled to face the in-form Bheki Ngcobo, who boasts three wins in his last four fights, while 31-year-old South African heavy hitter Adrian Sanchez battles Congo’s Glody Kanzeko, who is in search of the first win of his EFC career.
Likewise, Olympic wrestler Elbert Steyn will meet Durban-based Nkosi Dovisa in the fights that will kick off on June 15 from 8pm WAT.
