Southampton defender Kyle Walker-Peters is the latest recipient of online racist abuse following their goalless draw against Manchester United in Sunday’s Premier League match.
The 25-year-old Englishman received racial attacks in the comment section after a post on his official Instagram channel.
Walker-Peters came under intense criticism because of his involvement in the injury sustained by Argentina winger Alejandro Garnacho in the second half.
Garnacho was evidently in pain after the valid tackle and he was spotted limping out of Old Trafford with crutches.
Manchester United remain unmoved in the Premier League third position with the draw and they are 16 points behind leaders Arsenal.
