Portugual forward Joao Felix said his Chelsea teammates are to be blamed for their poor run of results in all competitions.
The Blues have registered just two wins in all competitions so far in 2023, including their 1-0 defeat of Leeds United last Saturday.
Regardless of the win, Chelsea fans are still not convinced with a lot of blame put on coach Graham Potter, who has not been able to get the best out of the expensively-assembled squad at his disposal.
However, Felix admits the players also have their own part of the blame as they prepare to take on Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 on Tuesday night.
“The fault is on us and on the coach, but not only for the players or the coach to take all the fault, it’s between us all,” the Atletico Madrid loanee said. “We just have to be together and we are.
“The coach is with us and we are with the coach. The situation will change for sure.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Potter said he understands the frustration of the fans but is counting on them to make the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge hostile for Dortmund, who lead 1-0 on aggregate from the first leg.
“They [the fans] know the importance of the game tomorrow (Tuesday) night. They want the team to go through, to progress, and they know how important they are,” Potter stated.
“We want to make sure it’s tough for Dortmund away from home in the Champions League and we need our supporters for that.
“The position we’re in, you should always welcome the pressure. It means you’re in a fantastic position which is competing for a position in the last eight of the Champions League.
“It’s an important competition and we want to progress.”
Felix’s life in London did not get off to a good start, with the former Benfica forward getting sent off in his first game.
However, the 23-year-old has become a key member of the Blues team, starting their last five games since coming back from a three-game suspension.
