Ahead of the third season of the Basketball Africa League, the NBA Nigeria office and the Basketball Africa League office in Senegal led by NBA Africa Vice-President and Country Head, Nigeria Gbemisola Abudu alongside Basketball Africa League President, Amadou Gallo Fall hosted the BAL IN Lagos over the weekend.
The premium lifestyle event hosted at the Kaly Bar & Resturant, had A-List celebrities including British supermodel Naomi Campbell, former Nigerian NBA stars Olumide Oyedeji and Obinna Ekezie, music maestro Dare Art-Alade, Uti Nwachukwu, Obi Asika amongst others.
BAL IN is part of the series of events aimed to entertain and sensitize the public about the activities of the BAL season 3 which is scheduled to tip off in Dakar, Senegal from March 11.
This year, Nigeria Premier Basketball League champions Kwara Falcons will represent the country at the tournament which is set to tour 3 African cities, with Dakar & Cairo hosting the regular season, and Kigali, Rwanda hosting the Playoffs and Final from May 21- 27, 2023.
