Nigeria U-20 team, the Flying Eagles continued their preparation for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations with a 4-0 win over Capital City Football Academy in a friendly encounter on Tuesday.
Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro was present for the game that took place at the NFF/FIFA Goal Project ground as Ladan Bosso’s boys extended their unbeaten streak to 16 games, thanks to goals from Samson Lawal, Agbalaka Solomon, Olamilekan Adams, and Yahaya Ibrahim.
Peseiro was delighted with the Flying Eagles’ performance and he had a chat with the team’s head coach, Ladan Bosso, before expressing his belief in the boys.
The Portuguese said: “The team has a lot of quality, and I am convinced that the U20 boys will put up a performance in Egypt that would be good enough to qualify them for the FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Indonesia later this year.”

The 62-year-old was in company of the NFF Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen, and Super Eagles Team Administrator, Dayo Enebi Achor.
The Flying Eagles are set to face the Junior Chipolopolo of Zambia this Saturday before the team departs Nigeria for Morocco next Wednesday.
