New Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has named a strong attacking lineup for the crunch 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali, Afrosport reports.
The Malian tactician has selected 2023 African Footballer of the Year Victor Osimhen and current recipient Ademola Lookman as the lead forwards and will be flanked by Moses Simon and Samuel Chukwueze respectively.
The midfield is made up of Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi and Fulham’s Alex Iwobi while the defence is made up of Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey and Bright Osayi-Samuel.

The game is a must-win for the Super Eagles as they are currently second from bottom in Group C of the qualifiers, five points behind leaders and neighbours Benin.
It is also an important game for Chelle who will want to make a first impression in the crucial series.
