Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has named the same Super Eagles XI for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Afrosport reports.
The Malian tactician started with an attacking lineup against Rwanda last Friday, which ended in a 2-0 win and is led by Victor Osimhen, who scored a brace in Kigali, and reigning African Player of the Year Ademola Lookman.
Nantes and AC wingers Moses Simon and Sameul Chukwueze are on the flanks, and the central midfield remains Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi and Fulham’s Alex Iwobi
The defence comprises Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey and Bright Osayi-Samuel, while Chippa United shot shot-stopper, Stanley Nwabali, will man the goalpost.

The game is another must-win for the Super Eagles, who are fourth in Group C, four points behind leaders South Africa, while the Warriors are bottom with three wins and still searching for their first win.
Nigeria and Zimbabwe played out a 1-1 draw in the reverse qualifier at Stade Huye in Butare, Rwanda, in November 2023.
