2026 WCQ: All Super Eagles officials, six players arrive in Kigali for Rwanda tie

Ahead of the Super Eagles crucial matchday five encounter in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda, all team officials, including head coach Eric Chelle as well as six players, arrived in Kigali on Sunday night, Afrosport reports.

Chelle, his technical team, and the two home-based players in the final 23-man squad—Papa Daniel Mustapha and Kayode Bankole—received warm welcomes from the Ambassador of Nigeria to Rwanda, Aishatu Aliyu Musa.

Meanwhile, four foreign-based players have also been reported in the Super Eagles camp, with Galatasaray star Victor Osimhen setting the marker as he is joined by Bruno Onyemaechi, goalkeeper Amas Obasogie, and Genk forward Tolu Arokodare.

17 more players are expected to arrive in Nigeria’s camp in Kigali, with the Super Eagles set to take on the Amavubi of Rwanda on Friday, March 21, before heading back home to take on Zimbabwe in Uyo four days later.
