Super Falcons captain Rasheedat Ajibade scored her first goal for Paris Saint-Germain in the 2-1 defeat at home to Real Madrid in the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Thursday, Afrosport reports.
PSG were 2-0 down at half-time as Naomie Feller and Alba Redondo registered their names on the scoresheet for Los Blancos.
The home side however pulled one back in the 58th minute as Ajibade connected with Sakina Karchaoui’s cross to head the ball beyond the reach of Madrid goalkeeper Merle Frohms.
It was also her first goal for first-ever European goal, having played thrice in two previous seasons at former club Atletico Madrid.
