Oleksandr Usyk continues to etch his name into boxing folklore as he recorded a knockout win over Daniel Dubois on Saturday to become a two-time undisputed heavyweight champion, Afrosport reports.
The 38-year-old put on a show inside a packed Wembley Stadium, seeing off Dubois in the fifth round to once again unify the heavyweight division.

The Ukrainian recorded two knockdowns against the Brit in round five, with the second one doing the damage. Dubois, fighting in front of his home fans, touched the canvas following a vicious left hook from Usyk and was unable to beat the count.
Usyk, once again, holds all four belts in the division, reclaiming the IBF title, which was stripped from him shortly after his unification bout in 2023. He adds it to his WBA (Super), WBO, and WBC belts.
The Olympic gold medallist improved his unbeaten record to 24-0 and registered the 15th knockout win of his illustrious career.
“I’m sorry [Dubois], it’s sport. My people wanted this win,” Usyk told DAZN.
“Nothing is next. It’s enough. Next, I want to rest. My family, my wife, and my children, I want to rest now. Two or three months, I want to just rest.”

Dubois defeated Anthony Joshua last September to defend the IBF title. He, however, succumbed to Usyk for the second time and suffered defeat for the third time in his 25-bout career.
“I have to commend him on the performance, I gave everything I had. Take no credit away from that man, I’ll be back,” Dubois, who also lost to Usyk in 2023, told DAZN.
“I was just fighting, trying to pick up round by round. It is what it is.”
Sharp Usyk remains heavyweight King

Both fighters had plenty to say in the build-up, with Dubois’ camp taking digs at Usyk’s age. But the Ukrainian looked completely unfazed once the bell rang, dominating the opening two rounds with sharp, punishing jabs.
The 6ft 3in southpaw moved well and controlled the tempo with his speed and precision, catching Dubois cleanly with two stinging left jabs at the end of the first and a slick backhand in the second.
Dubois came back stronger in the third, landing some heavy right-hand shots to momentarily take control. But Usyk regained his rhythm and finished the round on top with sharp work at close range. He continued to press in the fourth, keeping the pressure on and slowing his British opponent with a flurry of well-timed attacks.
Sensing his moment in the fifth, Usyk struck early with a clinical double-punch counter that sent Dubois crashing to the canvas. The Brit beat the count, but it didn’t last long—Usyk followed up with a vicious left hook that floored him again.
This time, Dubois was visibly dazed and was unable to get back to his feet, as referee Mike Griffin counted to 10 before awarding Usyk the knockout win.
