Eddie Nketiah scored off the bench once again as Crystal Palace defeated Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 in Lublin, Poland with 10 men in their opening UEFA Conference League league phase match on Thursday, Afrosport reports.
The England foward of Ghanaian heritage scored the winner off the bench for the Eagles in their 2-1 win over Premier League champions Liverpool at the weekend.
Palace were ahead against Dynamo Kyiv in the 31st minute when new signing Yeremy Pino crossed the ball for Colombian full-back Daniel Munoz to head in.
Oliver Glasner’s men remained in control of the tie and extended their lead in the 58th minute as Nketiah, who came on for Jean-Philippe Mateta, connected with Pino’s pass to put the ball into the back of the net.
The former Arsenal man was close to making it a brace soon after but his powerful 25-yard strike was saved by goalkeeper Ruslan Neshcheret.
Palace were reduced to 10 men after new signing Borna Sosa was given two yellow cards between the 74th and 76th minute. The East London outfit were still able to control the tie for the remaining minutes to secure all three points.

In other Conference League results, Mainz defeated Omonia 1-0 likewise Jagiellonia against 10-man Hamrun and Noah FC against 10-man Rijeka.
Rayo Vallecano defeated Shkendija 2-0 while Lausanne edged out Breidablik 3-0 and Lech Poznan saw off Rapid Vienna 4-1.
There was a 5-0 win for Zrinjski over Lincoln Red Imps and a 1-1 draw between KuPS and Drita.
