Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) put in another solid display as they defeated Arsenal 2-1 and 3-1 on aggregate in the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday night, Afrosport reports.
The French capital outfit were in top form when they won the first leg last week at the Emirates Stadium 1-0, and after early pressure from their North London opponents in the return leg, extended their lead in the 27th minute with a superb strike from Fabian Ruiz on the edge of the penalty area.
Portuguese midfielder Vitinha missed the chance to make it 2-0 on the night in the 69th minute after his effort was saved by Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya.
PSG were however not going to be denied three minutes later when Morocco right-back Achraf Hakimi drilled in a clinical strike past Raya.
Arsenal tried to force their way back with 14 minutes after Bukayo Saka beat the impressive Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal, having been nicely set up by substitute Leandro Trossard.
PSG were able to hold on to set up a final meeting with Inter Milan who dispatched Barcelona following a thrilling 7-6 aggregate win after extra time on Tuesday night.

It is the second-ever Champions League final PSG have reached having done so five years ago when they lost to Bayern Munich in Lisbon.
They are also the first French team to reach the Champions League final twice since the competition was rebranded in 1992-93.
