Bayern Munich boss Vincent Kompany has expressed his desire to win the UEFA Champions League title after their 5-1 win away at Pafos FC on Tuesday, Afrosport reports.
Michael Olise scored a goal and provided two assists likewise Senegal forward Nicolas Jackson while Harry Kane scored a brace and Raphael Guerreiro netted once.
The victory saw Bayern Munich maintain their 100% record in all competitions this season, winning nine games out of nine, scoring 35 goals and conceding just eight goals.
Kompany now has his sights on winning the biggest prize in European club football after winning the Bundesliga title last term.
“We had the very first game in the Champions League where we said very clearly it’s our dream,” the Belgian tactician of Congolese heritage said.
“Winning the Champions League is difficult right, but our dream is to be there and to have a chance to win it. But now we’re in the middle of the competition, we have to focus just on winning the next game and we did that today and then we’ll have to see if we beat the next team.”

Bayern will travel to Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga this weekend before the October international break kicks in.
