Paul Onuachu and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru both scored a goal and provided an assist as Hatayspor recorded a remarkable 3-2 win over Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday night.
Onuachu, who is on loan from Championship side Southampton, opened his Trabzonspor account in a 3-0 win over Besiktas last time out. He got things rolling against Hatayspor when he nodded the ball for Edin Visca to finish off the opening goal in the 44th minute.
The 6ft7 tall Nigerian striker would go on to score his second Trabzonspor goal in as many games in the 62nd minute with a half volley from close range, marching the feat of compatriot Anthony Nwakaeme in 2018 in recording three goals involvements (two goals, one assist) in his first two games for Trabzonspor.

Onuachu was taken off in the 68th minute and replaced by Enis Destan and Hatayspor pulled one back five minutes later through Rigiberto Rivas’ powerful strike from a tight angle.
Volkan Demirel’s men levelled things at 2-2 in the 88th minute when Dele-Bashiru’s shot from the edge of the penalty box took a touch off Cameroon forward Didier Lamkel Ze on the way in. The 22-year-old Nigerian sent the Mersin Stadium into raptures with his 97th minute sublime winner from a swift counter attack. It was the latest winning goal scored by a Hatayspor player since Ghana’s Christian Atsu did in a 1-0 win over Kasimpasa back in February, a day before a deadly earthquake struck Southern Turkey which sadly claimed Atsu’s life.
It was also Dele-Bashiru’s fourth league goal since joining from Sheffield Wednesday on a free transfer this summer.

The result moves Hatayspor above Trabzonspor by one point into fourth place and are five points behind leaders Fenerbahce after six matches.
