Matias Almeyda appointed as new Sevilla manager
Sevilla have appointed former player Matias Almeyda as their new manager on a three-year contract, Afrosport reports. The 51-year-old Argentine spent one season at Sevilla when he joined from River Plate in 1996, making 30 appearances in all competitions before moving on to play in Italy with Lazio, Parma and Inter Milan.
