Benjamin Sesko has promised that there will be more to come from him after he scored in Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Sunderland in the Premier League on Saturday, Afrosport reports.
The Slovenian striker netted the second goal after Mason Mount got the first to make it back-to-back goals having netted his first for the 3-1 defeat at Brentford last week.
When asked if fans have started seeing the best of him, Sesko said: “No, no yet. There is loads [still] to come, definitely.
“I’m still getting used to it more and more, to read the players, to connect with them even more. I believe I can be even better and I will try to show it.”
Sesko added that he is still tying to adapt to the demands of the Premier League which is different from his time with RB Leipzig in the German Bundesliga.
“I think it’s way quicker, you have less time in general, I think this is one of the biggest changes I would say, and obviously also the physicality, everyone is really physical and athletic,” he stated.
“I am getting used to it and I will come to the level of this soon.
“To play for a club like this or even train every single day, it’s an obvious pleasure. I’m looking forward to be back [after the international break].”
