Italian Serie A club, Udinese and Nigeria striker Isaac Success have mutually agreed to part ways on Tuesday.

He had his own share of fitness problem in the early part of the 2023-24 campaign, however,  he has subsequently failed to prove himself to be a key player.

“Udinese Calcio announces that it has reached and signed an agreement for the consensual termination of the contract with the footballer, Isaac Success. He thanks for the years we spent together and best wishes for his professional future,” the club statement read.

Following the club decision on Tuesday, success reportedly attracting transfer interests from Turkish clubs and he is expected to find a new home on/before the European transfer deadline on Saturday.

The 28-year-old started his European career at Spanish club Granada in 2014 after his outing with Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets at the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup in UAE.

He later moved to Watford in 2016 where he spent five years which include loan spell at Malaga before his eventual switch to Udinese in 2021.

Success made his Super Eagles debut in an international friendly match against Senegal in March 2017 and he has four appearances under his belt for the three-time African champions.
