Brentford captain Christian Norgaard will be in action this weekend in the Premier League after the Danish midfielder had his red card overturned by the Football Association, the club announced on Wednesday.
Norgaard was sent off in the 41st minute of their 0-0 draw against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday following a collision with English goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
Referee Chris Kavanagh gave the Denmark international his marching orders for serious foul play following a Video Assistant Referee (VAR) review after Norgaard lunged at Pickford’s knee with his stud.
The 30-year-old, however, will not serve a three-match ban after Brentford’s appeal of wrongful dismissal was upheld by the FA.
The skipper is all set for Saturday 👍

This means Norgaard will be available for the Bees’ next three Premier League matches, starting with a home fixture against Leicester City at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday.
Thomas Frank’s Brentford are 11th in the standings, and after the Foxes’ visit, they have tough matches against Aston Villa, Newcastle United, and Chelsea up next in the Premier League.
