Moroccan winger Chemsdine Talbi scored a dramatic 93rd-minute winner as Sunderland claimed a 2–1 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, Afrosport reports.
Chelsea opened the scoring in the fourth minute through Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentine nutmegged the goalkeeper to register his first goal for the Blues.
The visitors, however, equalised 18 minutes later when Wilson Isidor tapped in from close range following a goal-mouth melee after a throwing from Nordi Mukiele.
Sunderland sat back for much of the second half, and Chelsea failed to create any meaningful chance. The Black Cats completed the comeback late on when Talbi’s low strike found the bottom after a quick counter-attack, leaving Robert Sanchez rooted to the spot.
“I’m feeling great,” the 20-year-old summer signing said. “We knew with Chelsea we wouldn’t have too many occasions to score.
“We are Sunderland, we have a great team with great players. We can do the job and we showed it today. We will not talk too soon, but I think we are going to do a great season.”

The result marked Sunderland’s second away win of the season and moved Regis Le Bris’ side up to second in the Premier League. The Black Cats won back-to-back games for the first time this season and will host Everton in their next game on 3 November.
Chelsea, meanwhile, saw their four-game winning streak across all competitions come to end. The Blues slipped to seventh behind London rivals Tottenham, their next opponent in the league after Wednesday’s Leagu Cup clash at Wolves.
