Gabriel Osho was on the scoresheet as Luton Town defeated Sunderland 2-0 and 3-2 on aggregate to progress to the Championship playoff final.

Osho was the other Anglo-Nigerian to give Luton the lead in the 10th minute at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night, tapping in from close range after Sunderland failed to clear Jordan Clark’s corner. It was the 24-year-old centre back’s third league goal of the season.

It became 2-0 to Luton two minutes to the halftime break after Tom Lockyer sent a header in from Alfie Doughty’s cross.
Luton will get to play either Coventry City or Middlesbrough in the final for a chance to seal promotion to the top tier for the first time since 1992 and for the very first to the Premier League under it’s current format.
