Obinna Nwobodo provided an assist as FC Cincinnati defeated Inter Miami 6-1 in Saturday night action in Major League Soccer at TQL Stadium.
The 27-year-old, who lifted the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title with Enugu Rangers in 2016, laid the ball for Luciano Acosta to give Cincinnati a 2-1 in 36th minute after Yuya Kubo put them ahead and Sergiy Kryvtsov equalised for the visitors.

Nwobodo has been ever-present for Cincinnati this season, playing 19 league games, providing two assists.
He recently served a one-game suspension after collecting two yellow cards in a 2-1 home loss to New England Revolution on June 23.
Nwobodo moved to the MLS in 2022 after two seasons in Turkey with Goztepe. He spent four seasons in Hungary with Ujpest after leaving Enugu Rangers following their 2016 NPFL triumph.
