Brazilian defender Jair Cunha has completed a move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest from Botafogo, Afrosport reports.
The 20-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with Forest and becomes their second summer signing at City Ground.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side had initially signed Brazilian forward Igor Jesus from Botafogo in a deal worth around £10 million.
“Jair is a young talent who has shown quality during his time in Brazil, and we are happy to have secured his signature,” said Forest chief football officer Ross Wilson.
“Jair has flourished in Brazil and now has new ambitions as he moves to the Premier League. We know he will be warmly welcomed into the group here in Nottingham.”

Botafogo signed Cunha in February from Santos, where he won the Serie B last year, and the defender leaves the club after making 22 appearances and scoring one goal.
He featured at the Club World Cup for the Lone Star, playing in all four games, including in their 1-0 defeat by Palmeiras in the round of 16.
Cunha has yet to make his senior Brazil debut but has played eight times for the Under-20 side, helping them to triumph in the U20 South American Championship.
Forest continue to build towards the new season and are set to make a return to Europe after a 30-year absence. The Tricky Trees will feature in the UEFA Conference League next season after a seventh-place finish last term.
